Financial Service Cloud-21 Personalize Events & Milestones with Custom Icons and Configure Compact Layouts

Personalize Events & Milestones with Custom Icons

You can change the default icon associated with a life event type. Upload an SVG file to replace the icon.

1. Go to Setup > User Interface > Icons > Events & Milestones
2. On the Business Milestone or Person Life Events that you would like to to change click Change Icon.
3. For the icon that you want to change, click , and select Change Icon and click Upload Files. (An SVG file is a graphic file. It stands for Scalable Vector Graphic. You can use Adobe to convert your picture file to SVG. The SVG file must be a single path SVG file.)
4. Click Save.

Configure Compact Layouts for Events & Milestones

When you hover over a life event, an expanded lookup card displays the key fields from the event record. You can customize the associated compact layout and choose the fields that you want to show in the expanded lookup card.

1. From Setup, open Object Manager, find Person Life Event, and select Compact Layouts.
2. Clone the System Default layout, or click New to create a compact layout.
3. Enter label as New Compact Layout, and add the fields you want to include.
4. Sort the fields in the order that you want them displayed by clicking Up or Down.
5. Save the Layout.
6. Click the Compact Layout Assignment, and then click Edit Assignment.
7. From the Primary Compact Layout list, select your compact layout.
8. Save your changes.<br/> (Note: you can only see the 3 top fields)
